How We Can Help

Systems Engineering

You aren’t hiring us just to design your product, you are hiring us for the years it took to know how to design your product. We are multi-disciplined experts who excel with challenging problems.

Our interdisciplinary process goes beyond design engineering and incorporates aspects such as Regulatory Compliance, dFMEA, Risk-Analysis, and Supply-Chain so that your product is inventive and innovative.

Mechanical Design

At our core, we are Mechanical-Hardware specialists! In the end, you need a BOM or else your electrons, photons, fluids, don’t go where you want them to go.

We use the latest CAD tools such as SolidWorks Premium and OnShape. Along with Solidworks Flow Simulation for Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for material-stress, vibrational fluid-dynamics, and thermal modeling. With particular strengths in athermalization of electro-optical systems.

Project Management

We are multi-disciplined experts who excel with challenging problems. Even the simplest products need a systems approach to develop a commercially viable product.

Our interdisciplinary process goes beyond design engineering. We incorporate aspects such as Regulatory Compliance, dFMEA, Risk-Analysis, and Supply-Chain so that your product is inventive and innovative.

We will ensure your process follows a Phase-Gate approach. Managing risk in early stages using Agile techniques during Technology-Development, Concept, Assessment and Specification-Iteration followed by Design & Development when a Gantt schedule can be costed into a meaningful estimate.

Industrial Design

Our team includes Industrial Designers with a variety of backgrounds. We approach the challenge from multiple points of view, leveraging experience from the most appropriate industry, applications, and/or devices.

Prototyping Through Minimum Viable Product

Accelerate is our name and Rapid is our game.

Employing tried and true techniques along with cutting edge technologies, we can build prototypes for needs such as Visual Models, User Studies, functional Clinical Studies, Proof Of Concept, process development, etc.

Depending on the goals of your MVP, we can evaluate if Direct Digital Manufacturing can satisfy low to medium quantity manufacturing. if not, we have the Design for Manufacturing experience and Contract Manufacturer relationships to set up a robust supply-chain.

Concepts & IP Development

Our team has contributed to several patents. Some of which have come from early Concept Generation.

Our Concept Generation processes aren’t just for the initial phases of your project. Unforeseen issues will arise in any development that require mini-innovations along the way. Being unplanned, they are always urgent.

To Accelerate schedule, we front-load these obstacles bringing in multiple points of view from industry experts and ask two key questions:

1) What is the ideal solution?

2) What is the best way to manufacture a solution?

By Bracketing these Boundary Conditions, we can begin a synthesis process to find the best feasible solution.

Usability & Human Factors

We always start with the User’s unmet needs in mind. Clinically based User Research is now required by the FDA for Medical Device 510k submissions.

This reduces risks by spotting fundamental problems early on, strengthens the User Requirements, and fulfills Design History File requirements.

Design for Manufacture / Test & Assembly Fixtures

We always ask how are you going to make-it, fabricate-it, assemble-it, and test-it?

Our experience of cycling through the full Design & Development Process countless times gives us an edge.

You aren’t hiring us just to design your product, you are hiring us for the years it took to know how to design your product.
